Happy International Women’s Day March 2018!

Hello, Fellow Women Entrepreneurs,

It’s not often we get to be inspired as women by acknowledging other women that are making a difference in the world at large and so today is an auspicious day. Being it is International Women’s day 2018!

I know we all have some woman in our life, that has had an impact on how we view ourselves and our lives in general. Whether that was a family member, co-worker, boss, religious leader or friend. It may have been many as well. Either way today we can say a huge “Thank You” to these amazing women and hope that somewhere out there, we might have been an inspiration to someone.

This person doesn’t have to be any one of distinction… They merely had to have had a positive impact on you at some point in your life and for this, you wish to send them a heartfelt thank you. Even if they have since departed this earthly plane you can still say Thank you for making a difference in my life.

All throughout history women have had a positively inspiring influence on the world.

From women leaders like Florence Nightengale, Mother Theresa, Helen Keller, Joan of Arc, Amelia Earhart, Eleanor Roosevelt, Cleopatra,  Lucille Ball, Rosa Parks, Susan Solomon, Sally Ride, Janet Guthrie, Valentina Tereshkova, Gloria Steinem, Margaret Thatcher,  Jane Goodall, Nancy Drew, Sandra Day O’Connor, Kathryn Hepburn and Barbara Walters

Each of these women paved the way by making sacrifices and changes to the way women were viewed by the public and ultimately how we viewed ourselves.

Others Made World History changes,

Diana, Princess of Wales, Malala Yousafzai, Serena Williams, Murphy Brown, Mary Tyler Moore, J.K. Rowling, Michelle Obama, Maya Lin, Ellen DeGeneres, Dorothy Hamill and of course the Iconic Oprah Winfrey.

The main theme here is that each of these women started out just like each and every one of us… all typically Unknowns until they made the changes and sacrifices needed to make history.

A Few of my personal favorites are women such as;

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Maya Angelou, Esther Hicks, Louise Hay, Judy Garland, Gilda Radner, Mary Queen of Scotland, and women everywhere who have had to stand up to abuse! No matter who the abuser was any time to fight back you gain strength and isn’t that what this whole movement has always been about? We Women gaining strength both inner and outer. So here’s to women both young and old everywhere keep moving in the direction of your dreams and they will come true.

Remember who you are, why your here and where you want to go!

To Your Success,

Brenda
